Identify, evaluate, and support implementation of RECP opportunities in target enterprise groups through delivery of support services customized to the four main enterprise target groups: small scale industries (food, textile, chemical, metal), industrial zones (Makassar, Batam, and East Java), tourism regions and micro-enterprises including consecutively demonstration, adaptation, and replication steps.

Contribute to creating at the suitable administrative levels mechanisms for mainstreaming RECP concepts, methods, and policy instruments in relevant industry (Green Industry/GI), environmental (Sustainable Consumption & Production/SCP), tourism (Green Tourism/GT) and energy/resource efficiency (Industrial Energy Efficiency/IEE) policies and strategies, leading to an increased role of RECP in government policy in Indonesia.

Increase availability and affordability of suitable RECP technologies for the target enterprise groups, in particular those contributing to and/or inspired by Industrial Symbiosis (IS, Green Chemistry & Engineering (GC&E), and Cradle to Cradle (C2C). Upon identification, piloting, and evaluation of key RECP technologies, proposals will be developed and promoted for their adaptation and replication among target industries.

Assess gaps in enterprise finance, propose and promote appropriate financial instruments for RECP investments in target enterprise groups to financial intermediaries, including through roundtables and other consultative formats wit domestic financial institutions, board of investment, and international financial institutions. Technical support will be provided for the pilot, evaluation, and scaling-up such financial instruments including through training and capacity building of financial institutions and business sector.

UNIDO together with six other organizations in the programme (FAO, ILO, UNEP, UNITAR, WHO and OECD), is currently in the third phase of technical work to promote and deliver training on the use of the toolbox and its chemical management schemes in developing countries and economies in transition, as per the project “IOMC Toolbox for Decision Making in Chemicals Management-Phase III: From design to action”.

Latar Belakang Konsumsi sumber daya alam selama tiga sampai empat dekade terakhir menunjukkan pertumbuhan paling cepat, sebuah perkembangan ekonomi dan pertumbuhan industri global yang belum pernah terjadi sebelumnya. Akan tetapi dampak pertumbuhan ekonomi ini menimbulkan tekanan yang kuat terhadap lingkungan hidup: pemanasan global, emisi Gas Rumah Kaca yang lebih besar, efisiensi sumber daya yang rendah, budaya industri yang boros, meningkatkan permintaan atau kebutuhan sumber daya alam yang lebih besar serta meningkatkan pencemaran lingkungan.
CRECPI
CRECPI is established by Bandung Institute of Technology (Institut Teknologi Bandung - ITB) retains the principal technical role and primary implementation partner for Indonesia RECP programme, working both directly from its main base at the ITB, as well as through networks of affiliated experts in different regions and sectors of the country.

ICPC
ICPC or Pusat Produksi Bersih Nasional (PPBN) is established in the main by Ministry of Environment and Forestry (MoEF) and Indonesia chamber of commerce (KADIN) and become a key instrument for the realization of the aims and objectives of the 10 Year Framework of Programmes on Sustainable Consumption and Production (10Y-SCP), through advocacy knowledge management of RECP and establishment of network for RECP Indonesia (NRECPI).

CADGIE or Pusat Penelitian dan Pengembangan Industri Hijau dan Lingkungan Hidup is established by Ministry of Industry (Mol) to manage and/or oversee the execution of the Green Industry Roadmap (GIR), and become a key partner for the policy component of the Indonesia RECP programme.

CTB
CTB or Balai Besar Tekstil is established under Badan Penelitian dan Pengembangan Industri (BPPI) Ministry of Industry to undertake research and development, cooperation, standardization, testing, certification, calibration and improve textile industry’ competencies. In this project, CTB serves as model for additional textile sector with a pilot C2C component and lead the textile industry demonstration and replication activities.
